The price: Basic submission is free, but that is just for listing on the Pressport website.

My verdict: I've used this free press release service in the past, and found my own release coming back to me in the search engines, so the unpaid service is worthwhile.

Pressport offers a very full service when you start to pay, including very wide distribution throughout the world, SEO and translation services, but I think the paid services (from £35) might be ones to use later rather than sooner as your home internet business becomes established.

The blurb: PressExposure.com is the place where companies, organizations and individuals can submit their press releases for FREE. Created by the same team that runs EzineArticles.com, PressExposure.com was initially created to allow established EzineArticles.com authors a way to submit information about themselves, their companies or endeavors in a press release format that wasn't permitted on EzineArticles.com.

The price: Completely free press release service, no paid options offered.

My verdict: You'll see me endorse EzineArticles.com elsewere on this website, they really are a powerful force in the world of online articles.

I recently submitted a re-written version of an article on this website about ecommerce and discovered that via EzineArticles.com it was ranking number 1 for that keyword in search engines.

Now, although I didn't 'own' that article, I did have a link back to this website from the original article, so I clearly derive a huge benefit from 'piggy backing' off their success, and the same will be true for this site.

The other reason I like EzineArticles.com is because they offer lots of writing tips and support via regular email updates.

The main benefit of this website though is on the internet, rather than for distribution purposes ... use another of the free press release options if you need this.
