Network marketing
tips
Network
marketing tips are available in abundance on the internet.
In fact, I'm now convinced from my experiences on
Facebook that network marketers are so overwhelmed by each others'
pitches to each other that they couldn't spot a genuine and free
approach if they tried.
It's a feeding frenzy of prospecting and generating
leads and they're blinded by the constant selling ... but those
of us who are into the web in a big way know that it doesn't have
to be that way.
By getting your web presence right, you can bring
ready-to-buy prospects directly to you ... no phone bashing, no
harrassing family members, no buying expensive leads lists which
have already been plundered time after time.
Network marketing tips for the web
Like it or not, there is a 'get rich quick' stigma attached to
network marketing.
You know that you want to build equity in a long term business,
but your customers are sceptical about what you're selling and your
techniques.
So how do you get over this?
Forget the products, the company and the business opportunity,
that's how!
You won't read network marketing tips like that in any of the materials
that your mlm colleagues send you, that's for sure.
Don't
worry, I haven't gone mad, it will all make perfect sense be the
end of the page.
Remember, network marketers ARE great at network marketing, it's
the web they're not good at.
Here's why you shouldn't pitch the products, the company and the
business opportunity on your online mlm website.
- Pitching on a website could break too many government, regulatory
or company rules.
- You and your distributors will instantly lose potential customers
for whom network marketing has a negative appeal ... even though
your products might be attractive to them.
- If you're serious about developing a long-term, successful business,
you need to pursue a path which will ultimately lead to effective,
credible success.
On your website, that means:
- Avoid talking business on your website
- Don't link to your replicated store
- Avoid CD-roms about the business and other business related
products
Network marketing tips to help you 'change your tune'
You need to alter your approach, change your tune, get out of a
rut.
1) Create a content based website on a theme that is related to
your product.
For instance, if you sell Avon, create a website about 'Looking
fabulous after 40' or 'Looking sensational for seniors'.
2) At no point do you plug your products or your company, but you
do create great, useful web content about your field of expertise.
3) The search engines love content ... so as people start to search
for topics related to your website, you become regarded as an expert
in your field.
When people search for information on 'make-up for over-60s' or
'suitable lipsticks for 40+' it's your website's pages that come
back via the search engines, packed with useful, relevant and non-sales
based information.
4) With this technique you leave the door open to sales ... you
provide a simple 'Contact me' web form or a telephone number and
soon leads will be calling you, pre-sold on you and your expertise
and in a frame of mind that is receptive to buy.
How much easier is that than pointless lead buying, endless phone
bashing and constant rejection?
So
how do you go about creating a content rich website around your
mlm business?
Here are some network marketing tips from people who
have actually gone through the process of running online mlm businesses,
failed, then discovered that building a content based site is the
way ahead.
"I treat network marketing like a "real"
business. You cannot thrive on a system that requires enrolling
only eight customers, all of whom are family and friends. As I watch
my traffic, leads, retail sales and enrollments increase, I am convinced
that there is no better way to build a network marketing lead generation
source that brings in the kind of quality leads you would pay a
fortune for anywhere else."

"And what's amazing above it all is that
it doesn't seem like I'm selling. People who contacted me have already
been sold on my website. They have already seen and felt my passion
and know that they want what I have to offer. When they call me,
their mind was already made up to make that purchase."
